I joined a new gym, and it’s hard work.
I don’t always love it.
But I keep showing up and keep asking more of myself.
I let it be hard.
When I resist or avoid challenging situations, I tend to stay stagnant. I play it safe. I play small, and I become less comfortable taking risks over time.
Doing hard things makes me more of the person I want to become.
I build discipline; I learn how to fail; I develop emotional resilience, and sometimes, I even blow my own mind.
What if we started doing things because they’re hard?
What if the more we embrace challenges, the better we get at overcoming them, and the bigger our lives become?
Let’s do hard things.
